We’re pleased to introduce Gillian Davies who’ll share her 30 years of travel knowledge and experience with us.
Gillian has worked in the travel industry for 30 jam-packed years and can honestly say she has enjoyed every moment of it. Gillian was bitten by the travel bug at a very early age and it is her passion. Gillian says “I am frequently asked where my favourite destination is but that question is just too difficult to answer. All countries are special with their own charm, beauty and hidden secrets.
As a Travel Counsellor, Gillian plans and arranges every detail of people’s holiday trip and has the time to look for the best deals around. “Working from home means I can give personal, hassle free customer service, including out of normal office hours, with no distractions. So if you would like to go on a road trip in North America, take that ‘special’ trip that you always promised yourself, visit the location of your all-time favourite film, I am happy to help.”
Where else can you party in Paris and meet Elvis in Rome before learning blackjack in Egypt? Las Vegas is a neon explosion where the impossible is made possible, home to some of the biggest and best entertainment the world has to offer.
Vegas and the casino go hand in hand. This jewel-encrusted oasis in the Mojave Desert has attracted big spenders and casual flutters for decades, with pilgrimages to iconic sites such as the MGM Grand, the Venetian and The Luxor. But you don’t have to gamble to be entertained in Las Vegas. From David Copperfield to Celine Dion, Cher to the Cirque du Soleil, The Strip has always put on a show capable of stopping you in your tracks.
If you’re not content with finding a chair to pump one-arm bandits or applaud megastars, Las Vegas has plenty to offer for those who crave the rush of adrenaline. One of the world’s top rollercoaster destinations, you can head to the top of the Stratosphere Tower to tackle Sky Jump, X-Scream and Big Shot Insanity – certainly not for the faint of heart. Dining in Vegas, the portion sizes also require an element of bravery!
Beyond the grandeur of the world class hotels and restaurants, peerless entertainment and thrilling nightlife, many visitors to Las Vegas can’t resist adventuring beyond the city limits. After all, the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon and the near-miraculous Hoover Dam are both in the area, offering a much-needed contrast to the frenetic pace of life in Las Vegas itself.
It’s a destination unlike any other, a brazen playground where nothing is off limits!
